Weekend First of Seven ACT-PASS Doubleheaders Planned for 2021

Waterbury, VT — The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) is just days away from its first-ever trip to North Carolina’s Hickory Motor Speedway. The Hickory 125 on Friday, April 2 and the Easter Bunny 125 on Saturday, April 3 are already a historic prelude to the 30th ACT Late Model Tour season. Known as the “Birthplace of the NASCAR Stars”, Hickory is one of the most revered race tracks in North America, with a history of winners that ranges from Lee Petty to defending NASCAR Cup Series Champion Chase Elliott.

Network Agrees to Pay-Per-View Deal for All Six Thompson Oval Events in 2021

Waterbury, VT & Naples, ME — Fans of Northeast auto racing now have another way to enjoy the lid-lifter on 2021 season. The American-Canadian Tour (ACT), Pro All Star Series (PASS), and Speed51.TV have announced a live pay-per-view broadcast for the annual Icebreaker at Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on April 10 and 11.

Many ACT Tour Regulars Starting Season Early at Hickory

Waterbury, VT — The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) is closing in on its first-ever visit to North Carolina’s Hickory Motor Speedway on Friday, April 2 and Saturday, April 3. Although the Hickory 125 and Easter Bunny 125 do not count for points, many drivers planning an ACT championship run in 2021 have decided to start their season early at the 0.363-mile oval.

The Sunoco Modifieds and SK Light Modifieds, Thompson’s two local open-wheel divisions, are back for another year and will compete at all six events during the 2021 season.

ACT Posts Nearly $50,000 Worth of Season-Ending Awards

Waterbury, VT — The 30th season of the ACT Late Model Tour will be one of the most lucrative in the series’ history. American-Canadian Tour (ACT) officials and its contingency partners have to post just under $50,000 in point fund money, free product, and merchandise certificates to be handed out at the conclusion of the 12-event point-counting schedule. The chase for these awards begins at the inaugural $5,000-to-win Northeast Classic on Saturday, April 17 at Loudon’s New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

The long-awaited event on the “Magic Mile” has a six-division card featuring the biggest auto racing stars in the region.

More Than $23,000 in Posted Awards Per Event Set Between Five Divisions For 2021

Waterbury, VT and Naples, ME — American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Star Series (PASS) officials have announced the purse structure for the five weekly divisions set for competition at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park in 2021.

A total of nearly $24,000 in posted awards have been set to be distributed to the Sunoco Modifieds, Late Models, SK Light Modifieds, Limited Sportsman, and Mini Stocks at each event. All five divisions will compete as part of the six-race oval track event schedule at Thompson, which begins with the annual Icebreaker on April 10-11. The schedule also includes four Wednesday night races in the summer (June 16, July 7, August 11 & September 15) and the Sunoco World Series (October 8-10).
