ACT Moves Main Office to Barre

Barre, VT — The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) announced today that it has completed the move of its main offices to Barre, VT. It is the first time that ACT has moved to a new headquarters since the organization’s founding in 1986.

All ACT day-to-day operations and administrative work will now be conducted at 105 North Main Street, Suite 208 in Barre. The office is on the second floor of the building. Prior to the move, the ACT offices had been located on Stowe Street in Waterbury, VT.

Waterbury, VT & North Woodstock, NH — The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) has announced an agreement with Milton CAT for them to sponsor the Midsummer Classic 250 at North Woodstock, NH’s White Mountain Motorsports Park. The equipment and power systems dealer will present the fifth edition of the $10,000-to-win ACT Late Model Tour event on July 30, 2022.

Modified Racing Series, Thompson 300 Complete Modified Tripleheader

Waterbury, VT and Naples, ME — The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) and Modified Racing Series (MRS) will be part of the 60th Sunoco World Series of Speedway Racing at Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park. The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) have officially announced the additions of both series, which join the Outlaw Open Modified Series Thompson 300 as part a Tour-type Modified tripleheader at the 2022 edition of the annual racing festival.

0.043 seconds — The margin of victory for Ben Rowe over D.J. Shaw in the Haunted Hundred at Seekonk Speedway, which also decided the ACT championship. It was the smallest margin of victory in an ACT race this season.

1 — Brooks Clark was the only driver with a perfect record on the ACT Late Model Tour this year. He started two events (the Thunder Road visits) and won both.

2 — Ben Rowe has now won the ACT season finale two straight years.

Waterbury, VT — The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) has announced the winners of the year-end contingency programs for the inaugural New England Late Model Challenge Cup. Awards from Port City Race Cars, Five Star Race Car Bodies, and ARBodies came on top of the $17,300 in point fund money that has been distributed to the top-10 finishers.
