Thompson, CT — After this weekend’s poor forecast has continued to remain gloomy, American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials have made the difficult decision to postpone the 49th Icebreaker Weekend at Thompson Speedway one week. Now set for Friday April 7th and Saturday April 8th, the revamped schedule will continue the same divisions as previously announced, simply postponed one week due to the extremely wet forecast expected to hit the northeast corner of Connecticut this weekend.

Rain Forces Change to Hickory Schedule for ACT and PASS 

Hickory, NC — With an increase of rain in the central North Carolina area on Friday, Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials have altered the schedule for the Easter Bunny Weekend of Speed at Hickory Motor Speedway. Both the St. Patrick’s Day program previously set for Friday and the Easter Bunny program set for Saturday will be combined for an epic one-day show on Saturday, March 18th and will feature twin 150 events for the PASS Super Late Models, twin 125 features for the ACT Tour and twin features for the Mighty Mini Stock Series. All racing events are cancelled for today, Friday March 17th at Hickory Motor Speedway but Pit Passes for Saturday’s epic twin programs will be available for teams from Noon to 2:00pm this afternoon at the Hickory pit building.

The program has partnered with racers from across North America the past seven seasons to offer a stipend of sponsorship money as well as working with these racers to provide assistance with publicity, marketing, sponsorship development and industry networking throughout the season.
