Barre, VT ­— After several years of continued growth for the famed Flying Tiger division at Thunder Road Int’l Speedbowl and White Mountain Motorsports Park, American-Canadian Tour Officials have announced a new Tri-State Series for the top support division. The Tri-State Flying Tiger Series will visit Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine in its inaugural 2024 season, the first time the Tigers have hit the touring circuit in over a decade.

Barre, VT ­— Officials have released the 2024 American-Canadian Tour schedule of events. While one date will be announced as officials continue to deliberate between several offers on both sides of the US/Canadian border, the current schedule already shows nine unique ovals between five New England states and the Canadian province of Quebec. Of the thirteen posted dates, eight include events that are at least $5,000 to win, three of them bringing at least $10,000 to win!

Barre, VT — Kenley Dean Squier, founder of Barre, Vermont’s Thunder Road, co-founder of the Motor Racing Network (MRN), NASCAR Hall of Famer and the voice of sports events across Vermont, New England and beyond passed away on Wednesday, November 15 at the age of 88.

The packed-house gathered to wrap up the 2023 season in style. Just before award presentations began, a series of prizes were raffled off to the top supporting competitors on the American-Canadian Tour courtesy of a series of contingency partners.

All of the top teams, including 2023 American-Canadian Tour champion D.J. Shaw, Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Model King of the Road Stephen Donahue, Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tiger champion Kyle Streeter and rk Miles Street Stock champion James Dopp, will meet at the Barre Elks Club for the end-of-season celebration of their 2023 achievements plus a full contingent of annual special awards and random-draw prizes!

Waterford, CT ­— Although rains pushed the Haunted Hundred at New London-Waterford Speedbowl back to Sunday, October 22, the poor weather did nothing to hinder the competition. Forty-nine American-Canadian Tour teams flooded the paddock at the coastal Connecticut oval with just thirty-one positions up for grabs in the final event of the 2023 season with the iconic ACT Tour championship, Rookie of the Year honors and Brookside Equipment Southern New England Triple Crown on the line.

Three drivers will leave the gates on Saturday having accomplished something extraordinary and sealed off their 2023 seasons on high while everyone else will take the day as being the best that they could make it on the coastal Connecticut oval.

Oxford, ME ­— Seventeen American-Canadian Tour Flying Tigers made the trek across Route 2 to Maine’s Oxford Plains Speedway on Saturday morning, all looking for one last shot at victory lane in the 2023 season. Teamsters from Barre, Vermont’s Thunder Road and North Woodstock, New Hampshire’s White Mountain Motorsports Park took on a different beast on Saturday as they joined the excited Pro All Stars Series (PASS) 400 weekend.
