Boston Beer Company to Present Wednesday Events at Thompson
Waterbury, VT and Naples, ME — The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) have reached a multi-race sponsorship agreement with Boston Beer Company for the upcoming summer racing series at Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park. Boston Beer Co has teamed with their long-time partner Hartford Distributing to sponsor this year’s Wednesday night racing series.
The partnership will serve as headlining sponsor at all four Wednesday night events through their popular Twisted Tea, Samuel Adams Wicked Series, and Truly Hard Seltzer brands. Each of the four events includes a $5,000-to-win Outlaw Open Modified Series showdown along with a full card for all five local Thompson divisions. The first Wednesday night event on June 16 will now be known as the Nutmeg State 75 presented by Twisted Tea.
Thompson racing continues on Wednesday, July 7 with the Sam Adams Wicked Hazy IPA Spirit of 76. The real-life Samuel Adams was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States, making the sponsorship a fitting choice for the track’s holiday event.
Wednesday, August 11, a six-division card roars to life at the Truly Lemonade Hard Seltzer Midsummer 75. The Wednesday night program concludes on September 15 with the Tripoint Showdown 75 presented by Twisted Tea.
All four events have a 5:30pm post time. As part of the agreement, Boston Beer Company products will be sold in the Thompson Speedway concession area for fans of legal drinking age.
The agreement continues a partnership that began in 2020. Boston Beer Company sponsored three divisions at the 58th World Series of Speedway Racing, setting the stage for this year’s multi-race deal.
“We’re excited to partner once again with the Boston Beer Company at this year’s Wednesday night Thompson Speedway shows,” PASS President Tom Mayberry said. “They’re passionate about auto racing just like we are, and they understand the value it offers for sponsors. We’re sure a lot of our fans are looking forward to responsibly enjoying Boston Beer Company products while watching some great racing throughout the summer.”
