Waterbury, VT and Naples, ME — American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) have released the entry forms for the next two Outlaw Open Modified Series events at Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park. The Nutmeg State 75 on Wednesday, June 16 and the Spirit of 76 on Wednesday, July 7 are part of a six-division card for the track’s 82nd summer of racing.

Both events will pay $5,000 to win and $600 to start. Nearly $29,000 in awards have been posted based on a full 32-car starting field. The entry form has been posted at www.acttour.com/outlaw-open-modifieds.

The early-entry deadline for both races is two weeks before the scheduled date. The first 26 teams that file their entries will receive a garage stall for the day. Subsequent entries will be wait-listed for garage stalls in the order the entries were received.

Just like at the recent Thompson Icebreaker, the top Tour-type Modified racers will go at it during the Wednesday night shows throughout the summer. Outlaw Open Modified Series events are also scheduled for August 11 and September 15. The Sunoco Modifieds, ACT-type Late Models, Limited Sportsmen, SK Light Modifieds, and Mini Stocks will be part of all four Wednesday shows. The Late Model events also count for points towards the ACT New England Late Model Challenge Cup.

The six-race series concludes with the $20,000-to-win Thompson 300 as part of the 59th World Series of Speedway Racing on October 8-10. Modified champions Keith Rocco, Doug Coby, Ronnie Williams, Jon McKennedy, and Chris Pasteryak are among the early entries for the first Thompson 300 since 2005.
