Spring Green at Seekonk Speedway Rescheduled to Saturday, August 19th

Seekonk, MA — After rain had drizzled and dropped throughout the day on Saturday, a small window had opened in the clouds above Seekonk Speedway to begin the scheduled Spring Green 123 program at Post Time. That window was short lived. At the conclusion of the first Sport Trucks heat race, rain again fell over the racetrack. After checking the track and the radar, Seekonk Officials decided to pull the plug on the program and postpone the American-Canadian Tour 48th Spring Green 123 to Saturday, August 19th. All those in attendance have been asked to keep their Pit Pass wrist bands for exchange on the new August date.

With that new announcement, the ACT Spring Green 123 will headline the August 19th showdown at Seekonk Speedway. ‘The Action Track of the East’ will also feature the popular Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown finales for the Pro Stocks, Sportsman and Sport Trucks.

After two weeks off, the American-Canadian Tour returns Quebec for the Claude Leclerc 150 on Saturday, June 24th at Autodrome Chaudiere. The Claude Leclerc 150 annually celebrates the Iron Man of American-Canadian Tour competition who was able to rack up over 550 ACT starts since the inaugural season back in 1979. The $5,000-to-win showdown North of the Border has annually been one of the most exciting events of the summer season as the United States invaders attempt to tackle the Canadian defenders on their home turf with Chaudiere’s NASCAR Trucks, Vintage and Sport Compacts joining the program on June 24th.
