ACT Releases CAN-AM 200 and Milton CAT 250 Entry Forms; Over $100,000 Up for Grabs
Barre, VT — The American-Canadian Tour offices in Barre, Vermont have released the two official entry blanks for the historic Tour’s two biggest and longest point-counting events of the season. The CAN-AM 200 at Autodrome Montmagny on July 20 and the Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 on August 3 both feature purses in excess of $50,000 with each boasting a $10,000 winners share to the victor!
2024 marks the third consecutive summer that the American-Canadian Tour has returned to Autodrome Montmagny just north of Quebec City for the CAN-AM 200. The tricky Canadian oval features angled banking through the corners and onto the backstretch before an intense transition to the flat frontstretch that doubles as drag-racing straightaway to produce some of the most entertaining action of the season. The second combination event between the US-based ACT Tour and Serie ACT Quebec is sure to feature plenty of action as both sides of the border dig deep for a chance at the $10,000-USD payday.
Just two weeks later, the American-Canadian Tour will also celebrate the 7th annual Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 at White Mountain Motorsports Park. Featuring a $50,000 purse with $10,000 designated as the winner’s share, the Milton CAT Midsummer 250 has become an instant classic over the past several seasons, with incredible pit stops, impossible drives and plenty of drama leading to some of the best finishes on the American-Canadian Tour in recent memory!
The Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 has become so popular with teams that ACT and White Mountain officials opted to introduce a non-point, 75-lap qualifier event on Sunday, July 14 to bring in an added chance for regional ACT teams to make their mark on New England’s newest classic! The Prelude to the Midsummer Classic 250 on July 14th will feature a $2,000 to win purse with all drivers who take the green becoming eligible for a much sought-after provisional spot in the Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 on August 3rd.
The American-Canadian Tour returns to action on Saturday, July 20 for the $10,000 to win CAN-AM 200 at Quebec’s Autodrome Montmagny for an international showdown in conjunction with the Canadian-based Serie ACT Quebec! Just two weeks later, the American-Canadian Tour returns to its New Hampshire home at White Mountain Motorsports Park for the 7th annual Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 on Saturday, August 3. Over $100,000 in purse money and contingency prizes will be released in a three week span for the international tour with plenty of memorable action to be had on the track!
