The 26th annual Community Bank, N.A. 150 was the first of its existence to be under the lights of the Nation’s Site of Excitement on Saturday night, and exciting it was. Thirty-nine American-Canadian Tour Late Models were whittled down to a twenty-nine car starting field for a fantastic showing at the Tour’s homebase with many storylines competing for the top spot!

Barre, VT — With the increasingly poor forecast calling for rain and cold temperatures in Barre on Sunday, Thunder Road and American-Canadian Tour officials have moved the Community Bank, N.A. program to Saturday, May 4 with racing action set to start at 5:30pm. Originally scheduled for Sunday, the forecasted cold temperatures would hamper any track drying efforts with rain said to roll into the area any time after 10:00am pushing officials to move the program to Saturday’s full slate of events.

Along with Saturday’s annual Car Show at the track and the Kenley Dean Extravaganza Celebration of Life for the legendary Ken Squier, the ACT Tour title chasers come up on their first major challenge of the season as they prepare to tackle the infamous highbanks of the Nation’s Site of Excitement!

Oxford, ME — The persistent spring rains once again aggravated officials, teams and fans of the American-Canadian Tour during the start to the 2024 season on their return to Oxford Plains Speedway. While early morning rains dried off, grey clouds returned just after the halfway point of the American-Canadian Tour special and added area-wide lightning threats pushed both ACT and Oxford Plains officials to end the program early with the ACT Pine Tree State event official after completing 65 of the originally scheduled 125 laps.

Barre, VT — After starting off the season at the largest speedway in New England, the American-Canadian Tour is ready to roll into the State of Maine for the Pine Tree State 125 at Oxford Plains Speedway on Sunday, April 28. After having to cancel this weekend’s opening events due to continued water build-up in the parking areas along Route 26, next weekend’s doubleheader with the Oxford Championship Series on Saturday will serve as the 75th season opener for Oxford Plains Speedway.

Redline Performance Out of ACT Engine Program for One Calendar Year

Barre, VT — Following the conclusion of the Northeast Classic at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday, three engines were taken by American-Canadian Tour technical officials to an independent engine builder for further inspection. Following that inspection, the Redline Performance engine used by apparent winner Jesse Switser and the #25NH team was deemed to have had multiple infractions, this will result in the #25NH being disqualified from the win.

This discovery of multiple infractions has also prompted officials to eliminate Redline Performance, based in Hallowell, Maine, from the American-Canadian Tour Approved Engine Builders list for one calendar year.

MacDonald, Nocella, Waterman and Danny Cates Celebrate Magic Mile Wins

Loudon, NH — Blue skies and sunshine greeted the teams and fans at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday morning for the 4th annual Northeast Classic. The season opener for the American-Canadian Tour also served as the third round for the PASS Super Late Models and lid-lifter for the R&R Race Parts Street Stock Open Series while also featuring a pair of exhibition events for the Open Tour-type Modifieds and the new Sunoco 604 Modifieds.

After long discussions among American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials at New Hampshire Motor Speedway today, it was decided that Sunday’s scheduled events would be moved up by one hour in order to insure the full card of racing events for the Northeast Classic.

The 4th annual Northeast Classic will serve as round one in an expansive 13-event season for the international ACT Tour and over the past days, weeks and months teams from across New England and Quebec have been frantically filing applications and entries in preparation for the exciting season opener at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Barre, VT & Naples, ME — After watching the forecast, American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials have pushed the Northeast Classic back by one day this coming weekend. Instead of the originally scheduled Friday Practice and Saturday Race dates originally scheduled, the Northeast Classic will now begin with Practice Day on Saturday, April 13 and the 4th annual Northeast Classic will now be contested on Sunday, April 14. As such, camping will also be pushed back one day and campers can start parking on Friday, April 12 from 4:00pm to 7:30pm.
