Rain Pushes Back Northeast Classic By One Day, Now Saturday & Sunday Show
/Barre, VT & Naples, ME— After watching the forecast, American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials have pushed the Northeast Classic back by one day this coming weekend. Instead of the originally scheduled Friday Practice and Saturday Race dates originally scheduled, the Northeast Classic will now begin with Practice Day on Saturday, April 13 and the 4th annual Northeast Classic will now be contested on Sunday, April 14. As such, camping will also be pushed back one day and campers can start parking on Friday, April 12 from 4:00pm to 7:30pm.
Absolutely no campers will be allowed on Thursday, as we have moved the whole program and original schedule back one day. Again, campers can be parked on Friday, April 12 from 4:00pm to 7:30pm and on Saturday, April 13 from 4:00pm to 7:30pm. The same times and order of events will stand, simply backed up one day due to weather.
“It’s unfortunate that we’re already facing weather related problems this early in the season, but that’s exactly why we have so many back-up plans in place,” said ACT Managing Partner Cris Michaud. “Both Tom (Mayberry) and I look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday and Sunday for the Northeast Classic.”
The 4th annual Northeast Classic at New Hampshire Motor Speedway is now set for Sunday, April 14 with Saturday, April 13 set as the new Practice Day date. Headlined by the American-Canadian Tour and Pro All Stars Series, the Northeast Classic will also feature the full force of the mighty Tour-type Modified Open, R&R Race Parts NH Street Stock Open Series and the Sunoco 604 Modifieds!
