Patten Suspended for 2024 Season Following WMMP Championship Night Engine Infraction

N. Woodstock, NH — At the conclusion of White Mountain Motorsports Park’s (WMMP) Championship Night Late Model feature event on Saturday, September 23, apparent second-place finisher Pat Patten was disqualified in post-race technical inspection for a severe engine infraction.

As such, Patten has been stripped of his second-place finish and all points earned at White Mountain during the 2023 season and levied a monetary fine for the infraction. Today, American-Canadian Tour (ACT) officials have also suspended Patten for the entire 2024 season at White Mountain Motorsports Park and any ACT-sanctioned event in the upcoming year.

“The crate engine program is an integral part of the ACT Rules Package,” said ACT and WMMP managing partner Cris Michaud. “The spec rules in our motors, shocks and tires have been major factors in our growth and success over the last thirty years and any infraction will be swiftly dealt with.”
