ACT Tiger Tri-State Series Wraps Up with Vacationland 75 at Oxford Plains on Saturday

Barre, VT — After announcing the return of a true ACT Flying Tiger Tour last November, the 2024 Flying Tiger Tri-State Series comes to an end at Oxford Plains Speedway this Saturday, October 19. After starting off the season twenty-nine strong at North Woodstock, New Hampshire’s White Mountain Motorsports Park back in May and battling in the Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac 100 at Barre, Vermont’s Thunder Road Int’l Speedbowl in August, the Vacationland 75 is calling teams over from the Twin State area to take on the 3/8-mile Maine oval and wrap up the 2024 season in a fun way!

Needing no introduction, East Thetford, Vermont’s Brandon Gray leads the Flying Tigers into the gates of Oxford Plains Speedway this Saturday night. Gray earned a record-breaking eight wins at Thunder Road while pulling double duty to dominate the season at White Mountain, sweeping all fourteen feature events this summer! Gray handily earned both track championships and also took Thunder Road’s Myers Container Triple Crown and White Mountain’s Central Asphalt Paving Triple Crown! Needless to say, The Tiger King looks to add one more championship to his 2024 accolades this Saturday.

Thunder Road’s winningest Flying Tiger pilot Brendan Moodie sits just 24 points behind Gray on the leaderboard while Cameron Ouellette and two-track hard-charger Luke Peters are tied with former Thunder Road champions Sam Caron and Kyle Streeter for third overall in the three-race Tri-State Series. Thirty-seven different drivers have made at least one start in the reinvigorated Tri-State Series and Oxford is sure to add a few more names to the list!

Former Thunder Road and White Mountain Tiger champion Jason Woodard will be digging deep for another ‘W’ on the Plains of Oxford while fresh off his Mini Milk Bowl victory, Logan Powers is bringing his Jean-Paul Cabana throwback car to see if he can make it two for two in the month of October. American-Canadian Tour announcer Aaron Maynard is set to make his celebrity start in the Vacationland 75 while other headliners include Thunder Road Rookie of the Year Logan Farrell, longtime division stalwart Joey Laquerre and 2024 division winners Chris Laforest and Adam Maynard among the currently twenty-three strong entry list!
