Of Fifteen Marquee Events in 2025, Five Stand Tall on the ACT Slate
/Barre, VT — With the New Year off and running, American-Canadian Tour officials sat down to carve out just five most anticipated events out of the fourteen scheduled showdowns that make up the 2025 slate! A tough choice to make with the Tour coming off one of the most competitive seasons in its 46-year history but one that only made the next three months feel even longer!
Sunday, April 13 – New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NH) – 5th annual Northeast Classic
The anticipated start to the 2025 season begins on New England’s biggest stage for the fifth consecutive season. The American-Canadian Tour, in partnership with the Pro All Stars Series, brings the Northeast Classic back to New Hampshire Motor Speedway to kick off the 2025 season, Magic Mile-style! Over the past four seasons the ACT portion of the Northeast Classic has only grown, starting with 25 cars in 2021 and ballooning to 40 entries last April with just one question on everyone’s mind; Can anyone knock Derek Gluchacki off the Magic Mile podium and steal the ACT season opener? Gluchacki has swept the last three Northeast Classic wins with only Jimmy Hebert’s victory in the inaugural event counting against the Dartmouth, Massachusetts-driver.
Saturday, July 19 – Autodrome Montmagny (QC) – CAN-AM 200
Since returning to the 3/8-mile just north of Quebec City following the COVID border closures in 2022, the CAN-AM 200 at Autodrome Montmagny has quickly become the marquee event for the American-Canadian Tour in Canada. Aside from the $10,000 winners share waiting in victory lane, the challenge of Montmagny’s incredibly competitive racing surface makes for one of the best battles of New England versus Quebec in Canadian territory. With Raphael Lessard’s second CAN-AM 200 triumph last July, the scales are tipped back in Quebec’s favor with only Derek Gluchacki’s triumph in 2023 giving the United States one lone credit. After a strong podium run last July, 2024 ACT champion Gabe Brown seems poised to balance out the scales in 2025, alongside top-10 American runners D.J. Shaw, Gluchacki and Jesse Switser.
Saturday, August 2 – White Mountain Motorsports Park (NH) – 8th annual Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250
The 8th annual Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 opens the month of August for the seventh consecutive season after starting its tenure as the end-of-season celebration of the 25th year of racing at White Mountain Motorsports Park in 2018. The 250-lap race has seen it all in just seven editions between both Eddie MacDonald’s and D.J. Shaw’s near domination in their respective victories and the hard-fought battles that brought Wayne Helliwell, Jr. and Dillon Moltz the $10,000 payday. The Midsummer Classic has also seen some of the wildest finishes on the ACT Tour. As if Jesse Switser’s last chance B-Feature win to join the race and amazing come-from-behind victory in 2023 wasn’t good enough, Jason Corliss’s legendary victory in 2022 saw the former Thunder Road champ beat D.J. Shaw to the line with his hood up, only able to see the white line on the bottom of the track between the notches in his window net through the final five circuits!
Needless to say, the 2025 edition of the Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 has big shoes to fill!
Saturday, September 13 – White Mountain Motorsports Park (NH) – 47th Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Fall Foliage 200
The American-Canadian Tour returns to White Mountain on Saturday, September 13 for the 47th Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Fall Foliage 200. The cornerstone event for the international Tour has had a major resurgence over the last several years at New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track and 2025 will only add to the excitement. The Brookside Equipment Sales Triple Crown will wrap up at White Mountain for the first time with the stand-alone championship event sure to get fans out of their seats and drivers up on the wheel for a possible $7,000+ payday should the 2025 champion repeat Erick Sand’s triumph of winning the final event and taking the Triple Crown!
Saturday, October 25 – Seekonk Speedway (MA) – The Haunted Hundred
After the last several seasons, it’s hard not to wait impatiently for the American-Canadian Tour championship event at Seekonk Speedway. The Haunted Hundred has quickly become a marquee event in New England and the drivers of the ACT Tour have only added to the prestige. Starting with the nail-biting, down to the last lap championship tussle between Ben Rowe and D.J. Shaw in 2021, Shaw’s eventual triumph the next season and last November’s incredible first time win for Erick Sands, the Haunted Hundred is not to be missed!
The American-Canadian Tour is excited to welcome in the 2025 season and we look forward to regularly scheduled content and news beginning next. The 2025 Schedule of Events for the international tour is available online at www.acttour.com.
