ACT Releases Full-Season Entry Form for 2022 Season
/Barre, VT — The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) has released the official 2022 full-season entry form along with entry blanks for the opening events on the ACT Late Model Tour schedule. These can be found at www.acttour.com/forms.
The ACT Late Model Tour will contest 13 point-counting events with trips to nine different tracks in the United States and Quebec. In addition, this year’s 60th Northfield Savings Bank Vermont Milk Bowl will be a “100%er” event. Tour full-timers must attempt to qualify for the Milk Bowl to retain their 100%er status and this be eligible for season-ending point fund money and contingencies. The champion is guaranteed nearly $12,000 worth of awards with almost $50,000 in total point fund and contingency monies on the line.
Any driver who submits the full-season ACT entry form is considered to have entered all point-counting events on the 2022 schedule along with the Milk Bowl. If someone files a full-season entry, they will not have to submit individual entries for each event.
Drivers who mail or fax their full-season entries to the ACT offices in Barre, Vermont by March 18 will receive the discounted price of $700 — a 30 percent savings. If a full-season entry is submitted after the March 18 deadline, the fee is $1,000.
ACT has also released the entry forms for the first two events on the calendar: The April 16 Northeast Classic at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and the May 1 Community Bank N.A. 150 at Vermont’s Thunder Road. An individual entry for these events is $75 before the deadline and $125 after the deadline. The standard entry deadline is the second Monday before the event.
ACT also awards 25 appearance points to every driver who files a timely event entry. If a driver has a full-season entry on file, they automatically receive the 25 bonus points at each event they attend. This adds up to 325 points over the 13-event season, which can make all the difference in season-ending awards.
